I am an avid road tripper and petrol head! I have travelled over 100,000 miles on road trips and adore travelling with my family and friends, or even alone.
My idea of a perfect road trip is a fast-paced action packed adventure full of twisty mountain roads and epic hikes through nature. This style of road trip is not well suited to travelling with family members on-board. For a family road trip an ideal journey would be a little more leisurely paced, really soaking in the road and scenery. We make plenty of stops, take plenty of photos and enjoy spending quality time together.
I’ve had experience on numerous road trips in and through various countries, climates and continents. I’ve made plenty of mistakes and learned a lot of lessons which I can assure you were sometimes very hard learned!

I’m a big petrol head. I love cars and motorcycles. The sound, the smell, the rumble, I’m all for it. The love for driving has naturally led me down the path of doing a lot of road trips! As a child, my parents would take my younger brother and I all over Europe in some MPV or other, maybe that is where it all started. Trips to France, German, Spain, Holland, Italy and more. Very exciting stuff, let alone for two young children learning that the world is vast and full of things to discover.
